Daily Kos and MyDD made a sort of history today -- being the first weblogs to receive media credentials for the California Democratic Party convention (and for all we know, the first to receive media credentials for any major party event, period). That distinction led to a rather surreal moment: Jerome Armstrong and myself -- representing the newest media, sitting side-by-side with Bush's favorite reporter, Adam Clymer (a "major league" something or other), representing the oldest.

It's late and I'm tired, so I'll wait until Sunday to put together a report about the event (tonight was Kerry's night).
