Latest Dem poll numbers

Newsweek polled Democrats and Democratic-leaning registered voters. While I maintain national polls are quite useless -- a function of name ID, the trends are still moderately interesting. The results (January 2003 results in parenthesis):

Undecided 23 (13)
Gephardt 14 (13)
Lieberman 13 (22)
Dean 12 (4)
Kerry 10 (13)
Graham 7 (5)
Sharpton 6 (6)
Edwards 6 (14)
Braun 3 (n/a)
Kucinich 2 (n/a)
Other 1 (1)
None 3 (4)
Hart n/a (5)
You guys can come to your own conclusions. I think they are self-explanatory.

Just remember, national polls of the primary challengers are truly irrelevant. Who cares what someone in, say, Illinois thinks if he or she will never get the chance to vote for these guys before the nominee is elected?

The only polls that matter are state-specific polls in key primary states.
