So much court intrigue in one day, I don't know what to do with myself! Ford may not be running for House Minority Leader after all, ceding the post the Pelosi. That's fine. The Democrats avoid a divisive battle, while Ford probably finagled concessions to drop out (such as one of the other leadership posts).

I think Pelosi will be great. Her first test will come as soon as she's nominated. Expect the Right Wing Machine to go into full attack mode. How she handles the initial onslaught will go far in determining whether she will be an effective spokesperson for the Democratic Party or a step backwards.
