A district judge dismissed the GAO lawsuit trying to force Cheney to disclose information about his Energy Task Force.

The judge's decision argued that the courts have traditionally steered clear of political disputes between the branches of government. (Which is not entirely untrue.)

So score another one for Bush Administration secrecy, hubris, and lack of accountability to the nation's citizens. High fives all around!

Note that the Judicial Watch/Sierra Club lawsuit against Cheney's Energy Task Force is still ongoing.
