Dean tops MyDD/dKos poll

I had forgotten all about this, but MyDD didn't. With over 900 highly partisan, highly motivated, party-base Democrats, Howard Dean was the clear winner.

Howard Dean 43%
John Kerry 28%
Wesley Clark 11%
John Edwards 8%
Al Sharpton 5%
Joe Lieberman 3%
Tom Daschle 2%
Dick Gephardt 1%
Part of Dean's support may be due to MyDD's strong backing of the candidate, but I doubt it. As MyDD notes, Dean has consistently rated highly in one online poll after another in partisan Dem sites like DU and Democrats. com.

So how does Dean translate this nascent support into cold hard campaign cash? Beats me. If I knew, I would be a highly paid political consultant. But I'm sure the big money people don't hang out at DU, Democrats.com, MyDD or here. And I'm sure they will be nicely shielded from the grassroots as they write their fat checks to Joe Lieberman at the country club.

That was cynical...
