Wednesday | January 08, 2003 How Economic Policy is Made at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Thanks to MattS, and in answer to some responding to my earlier post who thought I may have taken a cheap shot at Karl Rove over the failed linkage between the Bushies' foreign and domestic policies, I recommend this post from the New Republic today. If TNR and the Washington Post are to be believed, the Bush plan was enlarged by Rove at the last minute to please those on the right who were concerned that the new economic guys would be too concerned about the deficit. It's good to see that Rove's college economics instructor now doubles as Anna Nicole Smith's image consultant. Steve Soto Posted January 08, 2003 03:19 PM | Comments (3) |
