Sunday | February 02, 2003 Bob Barr likely to run for House in '04 For everyone decrying the ousting of every colorful Cogressperson this past election, never fear. Bob Barr wants to run for Congress in Georgia's 6th CD (which contains none of Barr's old district). The district is solid GOP, so the Republican nominee should win the general. Perhaps we'll have a contentious primary in that CD to help provide delightful drama early next year (there's nothing like Republicans tearing each other apart, especially if one of them is Barr). Incidentally, Barr may be a nut, but he's now on the ACLU payroll because of his strong support of privacy issues. Posted February 02, 2003 09:01 AM | Comments (25) |
