Friday | February 07, 2003 Remember That "Dead or Alive" Guy? What Was His Name?... Just as the 101st Airborne finally gets its order to move out, telling us that an invasion is now weeks, not months away, we see that our allies' intelligence agencies have convinced our efficiently-reorganized homeland security apparatus to raise the color-coded threat level this morning for the first time since September. It is good to see that all of Bush's talk over the last several days has had the desired effect of spiking the amount of chatter that leads to this. At least this allows Ashcroft to ban those pesky last-minute anti-war rallies in the coming weeks. But remember, Saddam is the main threat against the US right now, not Al Qaeda, right?
