US storms out at UN

There will be lots of nice things about a Dem victory in 2004. One of them being that US diplomats will start being diplomats again. At the UN:

John Negroponte, the US ambassador, left the Security Council chamber while Mohammed al-Douri, his Iraqi counterpart, was winding up his speech condemning US aggression against Iraq.
While back in Canada, the Canadian government was considering censuring or even expelling Ambassador Cellucci for his Tuesday rant:
The storm over the comments made by the U.S. ambassador, rebuking the Liberal government for not supporting the United States in its war with Iraq, is far from over.

Liberal MPs held a fractious meeting behind closed doors wednesday, debating whether to censure, even expel, Ambassador Paul Cellucci.

The State Department has stood solidly behind Cellucci and his criticisms.
