Bush throws his lot with the homophobes

Not exactly a surprise -- Bush defended Santorum, praising his "inclusiveness".

"The president believes the senator is an inclusive man. And that's what he believes," Fleischer said.

Obviously Bush wasn't about to turn his back on his bigotted base. They are the bread and butter of the Republican Party (as is now painfully obvious).

What is surprising is that Ari finally spoke up. The cone of silence is dissolving. Now good Republicans everywhere will line up behind Santorum and issue the key talking point word: "inclusive".

You can bet someone is polling this issue right now. It'll be interesting to see what the general public reaction will be.
