This is kind of interesting -- Bush's Justice Department rounds up Arabs, holds them in secrecy, denies them basic constitutional rights, endorses racial profiling of Arabs, and denigrates their religion (who can forget Ashcroft's "Islam is a religion in which God requires you to send your son to die for him. Christianity is a faith in which God sends his son to die for you"?).

But now, Bush is actively campaigning for the Arab vote. To be sure, this community was GOP leaning in 2000. However, I can't help but think that any Arabs considering voting GOP are anything but masochists.
