$400 billion deficit and counting

The worst-ever deficit in this nation's history was $290 billion in 1992 (thanks Pappy!). Not to be outdone, Bush Jr. is on track to mutilate that record.

We're not talking a few hundred million, or even tens of billions. No siree -- when Bush Jr. does anything, he does it in a bold way.

So try $400 billion. And counting.

Another fun fact? The current deficit, 9 months into the fiscal year, is $291 billion. So as of today, Bush has already broken his father's record.
