Let's say this administration is brought down by the Plame Affair. Cheney is somehow implicated, and he goes down. Bush is so wounded and so unpopular that he decides he's been neglecting his "family" and needs to spend more time getting hammered with the twins. He announces he won't run for reelection, sells his Texas "ranch", and buys fancier digs in Connecticut.

What would the Republicans throw at the Democrats in November 2004? McCain? Frist? Ridge? Alan Keyes?
