Newsweek national primary poll

I get tired of writing this, but given that there are lots new people visiting the site, let me give the standard disclaimer:

National polls are useless to determine the electoral prospects of any particular candidate. The polls that matter are the early primary states, as they will decide our nominee.

However, national polls are a good way to gauge overall momentum. So they are not worthless, they are just not as predictive as some may think.

That said, Newsweek shows a lot of treading water, keeping in line with recent polls. (9/25-26 results in parenthesis)

Don't Know 20 (20)
Clark 15 (16)
Lieberman 13 (9)
Kerry 11 (10)
Dean 10 (12)
Gephardt 8 (10)
Edwards 6 (6)
Braun 5 (2)
Sharpton 5 (4)
Kucinich 1 (2)
Incidentally, this poll has a particularly big MoE +/- 6.
