It appears Simon will be prodded out of the race by the GOP. The inept campainer will reportedly refuse to endorse anyone.

While many will interpret this as good news for Arnold, it's actually good news for McClintock, who will be able to snag California's sizeable wingnut vote (which would have otherwise been split with Simon).

Schwarzenegger would be better served if Ueberroth dropped out, because every Ueberroth vote (even if just a few percentage points) would likely land in Arnold's lap.
